Mr Fris started off bariatric surgery with the Gastric Band surgery, but over the years, analysis of results led to improvements in the design of the Gastric Band surgery, as well as chasnges in the operation. Mr Fris has tried 3 different bands (Gastric Band surgery, Swedish Band, MIDband) as their design improved, but has now settled on the MIDband as he feels his results, side effetcs, and complication rate is better with the MIDband
